Thorsten Stanley

I am a Senior Paediatrician (seeing patients under 18 years) with a particular focus on Paediatric Immunology and Allergy and based in Wellington for over 40 years. I work in private practice at Riddiford Medical and in public at Wellington Hospital.

I completed undergraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and paediatric specialty training at Yorkhill Hospital and the Royal Maternity hospital, Glasgow with a special interest in immunology, before coming to NZ initially as a Senior Lecturer in 1980. Whilst I am a general paediatrician, I subspecialise in paediatric allergy, eczema and asthma, and more recently have been seeing many children with ADHD.
My name is a bit tricky so I sometimes get my young patients to call me "Dr Tosh"
An appointment requires a referral from your GP emailed to tosh.allergy@gmail.com. Please try to bring your child's health & development record when you come (Well Child Health Book) if you can find it (!), as well as details of treatments your child is receiving, photos and movies of any rashes, odd movements etc.
