Rujuta Cameron
ENT Otorhinolaryngology
Doctor
I am a New Zealand-trained Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck (ENT) surgeon with a special interest in paediatric ENT. I completed my medical degree at University College London (UCL), specialist ENT training in New Zealand in 2020, and an advanced paediatric ENT fellowship at Evelina London Children's Hospital at Guy's and St Thomas's in 2022.
I care for children with a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, including ear infections, hearing concerns, tonsil and adenoid problems, snoring, complex congenital disorders, and disorders of the airway. I also provide adult ENT care: I have particular interest in laryngology, and I also provide care for general ENT conditions including recurrent infection, hearing loss, nasal obstruction, recurrent tonsillitis, and neck lumps.
I currently work in public hospitals across Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley, and Wairarapa DHBs, providing specialist ENT services to patients throughout the lower North Island.
I enjoy spending time with my two children. I understand first-hand the joys and challenges of family life, which helps shape my compassionate and practical approach to caring for children and families.
