Ray Blackbeard

I am a Sleep and Respiratory physician with an interest in sleep apnoea and non-invasive ventilation. I work at Wellington Hospital and at the University of Otago, WellSleep Centre, and now offer private care via Riddiford Medical specialists. I completed my medical degree at Otago University, before training in Respiratory, Sleep and General Medicine. I completed Sleep Medicine specialist training in Wellington Hospital and have a wide range of experience gained from also working at Auckland and Hawke’s Bay Hospitals. I am passionate about providing patient-centred and holistic care to develop effective strategies with evidence-based therapy
